  18. <p>     Why does a woman's ability to conceive drop after 40? Worn-out
  19. eggs, suggests a new report in the Journal of the American
  20. Medical Association. For women over 40 receiving egg implants,
  21. pregnancy rates were lower when the eggs were their own than
  22. when the eggs were donated by someone younger. But women with
  23. donated eggs had about the same fertility whether they were
  24. older than 40 or not.
